How Can Online Training for Healthy Eating Help?

Online training for nutrition and healthy eating is beneficial for so many reasons. It allows you to learn from anywhere, including the privacy of your own kitchen if you want. If you travel a lot for work, or fun, it keeps nutrition and good health at the forefront of your mind as you move about.

Whatever location and time you choose, online training is a fantastic method to increase your nutritional knowledge and broaden your mind to the benefits of eating healthy on your body and peace of mind.

In the lunchroom of the elementary school I attended there was a huge wall with this saying on it, “You are what you eat from your head to your feet.” I loved that sign then, and whenever it crosses my mind it still puts a huge smile on my face.

Online training works really well with whatever schedule you keep, as you get to decide how much you take in at a time.

So, let’s dig in to Grain Free Mama’s online training course, Sustainable Clean Eating Made Simple.

There are 5 modules to the course. Each module has 3 or more lessons. You get to decide how slowly or quickly you want to move through the material, so it is easier to fit it into your schedule.

Each lesson consists of the following:

(1) A teaching video. (These are short videos, between 5-15 minutes each. The reason I kept them short is that as humans, we take in new information the most effectively in short bursts, typical 20 minute increments or less for optimal learning.)

(2) A fill-in-the-blank PDF that goes with the video. Download it and fill it in as you watch the video. (You will find it below the educational material.)

(3) Additional education material below the video. (This is where you will find links to additional articles, etc. so you can dig deeper if you choose to.)

(4) A 5 question quiz. (A score of 60% or higher is required to pass and move on to the next lesson.)

The quiz isn’t there to trick you, it is because everyone has slightly different learning styles and I wanted to make sure to tap into as many ways for you to learn as possible within the framework of the online course structure.
