The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped our lives and priorities. The shutdown of restaurants and subsequent supply chain shortages were a bit of a shock at first. Cooking at home??? This was a new concept for many who lived in urban and suburban settings.

This led to an upsurge in interest in recipes and cooking in general. Cooking shows gained many loyal fans. But now the pandemic is over. Many have gravitated back to old habits. The cost both to finances and health is felt keenly. So now is a great time to rethink our ways of operation with regards to a healthy lifestyle.

My journey as a Natural Food Scientist has illuminated the power of natural foods in promoting health began in 2004 when my 6-year-old daughter developed digestive problems and food allergies.  Her problems were with traditionally made baked goods. (Traditionally made baked goods are NOT good for people.) We didn’t want to have to choose between good food and good health, so I put my science education to work to create the solution. This led me to the creation of innovative and total clean baking mixes, which then led to the founding of Grain Free Mama’s.

Grain Free Mama’s is at the forefront of promoting health through natural foods. Our mission is to help to slow down and eliminate the incidence of autoimmune disease that is caused by unhealthy diets. We’ve eaten ourselves into poor health. At Grain Free Mama’s, we are fully committed to helping people turn that around by providing the ‘cleanest, moist and delicious, baking mixes (and in the future, baked goods) on the planet’.

‘How?” you may be asking. Our innovative approach at Grain Free Mama’s includes working with nature in creating delicious and nutritious baking mixes that are free from edible grass ingredients (flours of gluten and non-gluten grains, corn, rice, and cane sugar), dairy, soy, botanical nuts, and artificial additives. The ingredients we use are naturally low inflammatory.

It was never my intention to create gluten free products, as I knew within the first two years that they were definitely not the answer to optimal health.
